Webinar with DCW: China as an Investment Location
May 14 / 10:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC+0
Current Legal Developments in the Context of “Made in China 2025”
While the US is erecting trade barriers, the People’s Republic of China remained Germany’s most important trading partner last year. Meanwhile, China is shifting from its image as the world’s workbench to an innovation-driven industry and a stronger service sector.
As the largest sales market in the world, China continues to be an interesting investment target. However, the changing economic environment requires a strategically well-thought-out focus.
A central component of China’s investment offensive is the new Foreign Investment Act. It is intended to make it easier for foreign investors and innovators to gain access to the Chinese market. In our free webinar with DCW (Deutsch-Chinesische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e.v.), our investment specialist Manuela Reintgen explains the legal and tax innovations as well as their potentials and challenges for German companies, with regards to the strategy for strengthening local industry “Made in China 2025”.
