About the speakers:
Fei Xun (CEO of ZGC-InnoHub)
Ms. Fei Xun is the Director of the Heidelberg Liaison Office of Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone and CEO of ZGC-InnoHub – Zhongguancun German Innovation Center. Ms. Xun has more than 20 years extensive working experience in the Chinese government, state-owned enterprises and private enterprises with excellent achievements. She has a deep understanding of Chinese government policy formulation and implementation, international business cooperation and intercultural challenges. At the same time, as an entrepreneur, her own business in China has also achieved great success with more than 100,000 customers and followers on WeChat.
Felix Kurz (chairman of the board of GDCF MRN)
Mr.Felix Kurz, who is also vice president of the “German-Chinese Union for Companies (ADCG)”, spends about a third of the year in the People’s Republic of China. The owner of the Mannheim-based communications agency kurzup is one of the founders of the alternative “die tageszeitung”, a german newspaper, and worked for almost 20 years as an editor for the news magazine “Der SPIEGEL”. The expert on china and communications maintains long-standing intensive relations with the People’s Republic at a national, regional and local level.
Gina Hardebeck (Managing Partner Storymaker China)
In 1994, Ms. Hardebeck discovered her affinity for Asia, while in Hong Kong. After finishing her studies in sinology and journalist education, she joined Storymaker. Ms. Hardebeck offers consulting on the strategic and operative implementation of international communication and marketing campaigns.
Mrs. Hardenbeck is shareholder of the subisidiary Storymaker (Beijing) Ltd. She played a vital role in its foundation and buildup.
Moreover, in 2018, Gina Hardebeck became a member of executive management.
Manuela Reintgen (Senior Business Development Manager at Ecovis Beijing)
Heading our Business Development and Marketing department, Manuela lived and worked in China from 2009 to 2017 and currently advises clients in- and outside of China from our Heidelberg office. She holds a diploma in Chinese, French and Law and has worked for several private and governmental institutions in both Germany and China before joining ECOVIS Beijing. Her focus is on foreign direct investment into China, she advises our clients on all aspects of establishing and doing business in China. Manuela is well versed in tax and legal regulations as well as main challenges and pitfalls SMEs encounter whilst managing their China entity.
Zhiruo Zhao (Business Development & Marketing Manager at Ecovis Beijing)
Ms. Zhiruo Zhao is a manager in our business development and marketing team. In our Heidelberg office, she is the primary contact person for Chinese and international customers. Before joining Ecovis Beijing in 2016, she worked for a marketing research company in the field of marketing and data analysis. Previously, she worked on several projects for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in China and Germany. Ms. Zhao focuses on areas such as company formation, labor law, human resource management and German VAT compliance for e-commerce sellers.
