24 May 2017: Startup Grind Beijing

Start Up Grind May2017

Startup Grind is a global community that aims at helping entrepreneurs to find mentorship, connect to partners, pursue funding and reach out to like-minded people to exchange ideas and visions. As the largest independent startup community, it connects over 400,000 entrepreneurs in more than 200 cities throughout 85 countries together with strong partners such as Google for Entrepreneurs.

The default setting for a startup is failure and even if it goes well, often times the biggest battle for an entrepreneur is not competition or market forces or even managing staff or investors. The biggest battle can be the one raging inside the entrepreneur’s head. A startup necessarily is doing something that hasn’t been done before and oftentimes by a person who hasn’t ever done anything like it before. After the ideation phase, after the excitement of recruiting the team, after the rush of convincing investors to write that check and after the initial spike in traffic FUD can start to settle in. Fear. Uncertainty. Doubt.
