In cooperation with the German law firm Görg (贵珂), ECOVIS Beijing invites you to attend an interdisciplinary seminar on Investing in Germany from a legal perspective. 

 

ECOVIS Beijing partners and founders Grace Shi and Richard Hoffmann will introduce you to the main application procedures for subsidies and the tax implications of your investment in Germany. For ensuring a safe transaction, important issues, such as tax due diligence and other typical pitfalls will be discussed.

 

GÖRG speakers Florian Wolff and Jia Ding will provide you with the latest trends of Sino-German and Sino-European M&A transactions.

Grace Shi is a partner at ECOVIS Beijing. She has over 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and tax advisory services in both international accounting firms and large domestic corporations. She has an international MBA and a US Global Finance Master’s degree. Since 2001, she is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and since 2002 a Chinese Certified Taxation Agent (CTA). Before joining Ecovis she was the head of a leading international firm in Beijing for more six years and the CFO of a local company with more than 1000 employees. Richard Hoffmann is a Co-Founder and Partner at ECOVIS Beijing, Founder of the Heidelberg office and Board Member of ECOVIS International. Richard obtained an honor's degree in law in Germany and worked for various prestigious law firms in Germany, America, and China. In addition to being a member of the board of ECOVIS International, he is Supervisor for the China business of a respected German company and shares his extensive knowledge to students by teaching commercial law in China at SRH Hochschule Heidelberg.
